Imagine a Muslim youth, who has some unresolved doubts - who was either too shy to ask or never found an answer which inspired confidence.

What happens when such a youth meets these people or comes across the well funded material they spread?

Amidst the mainstream onslaught of ideas from public schools, to universities, to media and the internet, young Muslims with doubts are confused and have nowhere to turn to inspire their confidence.

Unfortunately the way Islam is being taught, is making the matter worse.

This is compounded by 

• Imams/Scholars/Islamic Teachers whose training has never showed them how to effectively deal with the modern discourse of 2023,

• Well intentioned Youtube “daees” and youth leaders who may understand the modern discourse but don’t have the scholarly training to properly address the issues.

This has to change, and we have a solution that is making a difference.  

Basira specializes in training teachers to gently guide students to their own realizations that Islam is true.

We are working with the Canadian Council of Muslim Theologians (CCMT) to train 40 Imams and scholars across the GTA who will be able to proactively address mainstream atheist arguments before they take root.
