TRANSCRIPT

Assalam Alaikum wa Rahmatullah. My name is Yamen Attasi. Alhamdulillah I just wanted to speak to the impact that Shaykh Hamza Karamali has had on me and my studying sacred knowledge. 

Alhamdulillah I was someone who went through the unique experience of studying philosophy as my major course of study in undergrad. Alhamdulillah it was not always easy and I did stick close to mashayekh during that time. However there were always things that were periphery issues that I did not have resolved and alhamdulillah I think it was 2018 when I was in Jordan I just happened to sit on a class with Shaykh Hamza teaching the sanusiyyah and subhanallah evevry class I went in it was amazing how many of these issues were just resolved very simply. 

I didn't even have to ask the questions, they just came out of his mouth in the most simple and easy to understand way. And that really the amazing quality in Shaykh Hamza, is that he can take an idea and explain it in the easiest of terms and in the most sophisticated of terms. And he does it with the best of character, and with a gentleness and kindness that uplifts your spirit. 

And so I love Shaykh Hamza, and all of his students love him, and he is a such an inspiration of a teacher and a mentor and it is a privilege for us to have the opportunity be able to continue to study with him and to call other people to also benefit from his teachings and also just from his company.
