Course Logistics
This program consists of daily live online classes with video, audio, and online teaching aids.
The classes explain traditional Arabic texts in English. Students can ask questions in English, but they are required to be proficient enough in Arabic to be able to follow the Arabic text as it is explained in English.
Students are encouraged to attend live, but they may also listen to class recordings and interact with their teachers in supplementary live sessions appropriate to their time zones. Please email info@basiraeducation.org with your inquiries.
75 instruction days in fall semester (September 1 – January 2) – two week break in between
75 instruction days in spring semester (February 2 – June 31) – Ramadan break in between
Students are required to acquire their own copies of the course textbooks. Many of the Arabic-language textbooks are freely available online as pdf’s.
